Established in 1976, Minia University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the large town of El-Minia (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Minya. Officially accredited/recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Egypt, Minia University is a very large (enrollment range: over-45,000 students) coeducational higher education institution.
